Health Data & Special Categories

As a provider of wearable wellness technology, Pachira may collect certain health-related data through your use of the smart ring and its companion mobile application. This data may include biometric information such as heart rate, sleep patterns, stress indicators, blood oxygen levels (SpO₂), and physical activity metrics.

5.1 Legal Basis for Processing

We process this data only with your explicit consent, in accordance with applicable data protection laws such as the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). You may withdraw your consent at any time through your app settings or by contacting us directly (see Section 13).

5.2 Purpose of Use

Your health data is used solely for the following purposes:

  • To provide personalized wellness insights and recommendations

  • To enable core features such as sleep tracking, stress analysis, and fitness monitoring

  • To improve the performance, accuracy, and functionality of our smart ring and app

We do not use health or biometric data for advertising, profiling, or sharing with third-party marketers without your express permission.

Health data is securely stored using encryption and industry best practices. Access to this information is strictly limited to authorized personnel and service providers who support our wellness services.
